| DESCRIPTION
|
Hires, orients, trains, supervises, evaluates and provides direct supervision to assigned staff members. This includes making supervisory home visits.
Collaborates with the Director of Rehabilitation Services in orientation, training and evaluation of rehabilitation services staff assigned to the district.
Assures appropriate staffing and productivity levels for assigned team members.
Provides oversight of patient scheduling.
Serves as a resource regarding patient care issues as needed.
Is responsible for financial and quality outcomes related to patient care.
Understands and supports our Home Health and Hospice philosophy and principles and implements these in professional practices.
Participates in quality improvement activities, including participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of process improvement initiatives
Acts as regulatory expert pertinent to the delivery of Home Health services and conducts team operations in a manner to be in compliance with such regulations.
Acts as an OASIS expert and resource.
Collaborates with the counterpart Director of Patient Care Services, the Director of Rehabilitation Services and the Director of Quality Improvement and Education to identify and develop training tools for staff.
Actively participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of various care delivery models and new or expanded home health programs.
Performs other duties as assigned consistent with skills and training and the mission and goals of the facility
Requirements:
Certified Home Health Agency Director of Patient Services.
Prior Experience in this position a must
Masters Degree in Nursing or Business Administration is helpful
