|
InterWest Search, has been chosen to assist a + bed hospital located in N. CA (north of Sacramento) in its search for a Director of Women's and Children's Services. The hospital has an excellent management team and it seeks a new partner to lead this position.
The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, evaluating and coordinating activities of nursing services in a manner that supports the philosophy, purpose, goals and objectives of the Board and the Administration of the Organization. This individual will provide leadership in ensure that quality, timely and appropriate care is provided to patients of any age through assessment and treatment.
This position includes oversight of Labor and Delivery (+ births/month), Post Partum, Normal Nursery, a bed Level NICU, Peds, South ( bed Med/Surg/Ortho unit), a total of full time employees.
Knowledge/Experience: Masters degree in Nursing or a related field with at least one year of experience in Administration; or a BSN with at least three years experience in Nursing Administration; or at least five years in Nursing Adminstration or Supervisor with evidence of continuing education directly related to the job specifications.
Skills: Demonstrates leadership and managerial skills. Demonstrates the ability to develop collaborative relationships. Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
License: Valid California RN license. |
