| Summary of Duties: Plans, coordinates, evaluates hospital-wide integrated programs relating to control/prevention of infection. Maintains and enhances a cooperative relationship with members of the Medical Staff. Collaborates with Quality/Risk Mgt, Case Management and Employee Health. Graduate of a state accredited school of Nursing or graduate of an accredited collegiate program in an allied science required. Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. CA license (RN or other healthcare professional)required. BLS required. Certification in Infection Control desired. Must have 3-5 years recent clinical experience in acute care setting. 1 yr experience in IC coordination in acute care setting. Computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Word; Excel and PowerPoint preferred. |
