MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School graduate or GED equivalent requiredSTATE TESTED CERTIFICATION Successfully passed the medical terminology quizStrong interpersonal and communications skillsComputer skills preferred Required Length and Type of Experience: One year related experience working in the healthcare field preferred. Completion of a state certified program required. **Please list your STNA License information on the application.** Required Licensure, Certification or Registry: BCLS certified, or must obtain within first year of employment. Required Physical and Environmental Demands: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Required standing and walking for six to eight hours in an eight hour shift. Frequently requires lifting and turning patients, and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids or potentially infectious materials.
