Maintains patient exam areas. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Satisfactory completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program. Completion of medical terminology course. Ability to work independently. Strong customer service and team orientation. Ability to work under pressure & meet strict deadlines. · Ability to establish and maintain friendly and cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work. · Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet multiple demands. Flexibility in day-to-day actions and duties. · Ability to construct alternative positive problem resolutions. Required Length and Type of Experience · Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program. · Minimum of one year healthcare experience in a similar setting. Completion of a Clinical Externship. Required Licensure, Certification or Registry · BCLS or must obtain within first year of employment. Required Physical and Environmental Demands Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluid. Category: Allied Health
