| Administrative Secretary II Reference TitleHR Use Only: -RN- AMbulatory Hospital: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus & Family Health Centers Facility: Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Main Campus) Department: Institutional Relations and Development Job Code: B16018 Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: 8am-5pm Job Details: GENERAL SUMMARY: The Administrative Secretary II is responsible for a variety of clerical, data management, and administrative functions for the Central Intake and Access Department. General directions and priorities are set by the Regional Director, and the Secretary may assist the Central Intake Supervisor(s) with special assignments. The Secretary enters daily statistics for reporting purposes. The incumbent schedules meetings, attends some meetings, and prepares meeting minutes. The Secretary is responsible for timekeeping duties, and file keeping of personnel records. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · High School diploma or the equivalent; associate's degree preferred. · Experience in various computer programs (Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.). · High level of interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and communicational skills (verbal and written) required. · Ability to work under general direction and to prioritize work load. · Excellent typing/word processing skills (60-70 wpm). · Excellent grasp of English vocabulary and grammar. Required Length and Type of Experience · Two or more years experience in a Secretarial or Administrative Assistant position. Required Registry, Certification, or Licensure · None Required Physical and Environmental Demands · S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: active or condition exists up to1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
