Med Surg and Rehab

Acute care facility offering the latest medical advances and life-saving technology to patients, families and the community.
Responsibilities:
Will oversee two Departments.
Oversee and guide nursing and clinical employees for their department.
Responsible for interacting with healthcarel staff, patients, families, visitors, and/or ancillary departments regarding patient care, concerns and conflicts by identifying and assisting resolution.
Responsible and accountable for maintaining performance skills of their employees and maintaining JCAHO Readiness.
Coordinates and maintains staff schedules, payroll, orientation, staff meetings, policies, and is accountable for budget compliance and budget variance.
Routinely works week days, but may need to support staff at other times when necessary.

Requirements for this job:
Current license in practicing state
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- years of previous management experience preferred
Current CPR Certification
