Job DescriptionProvides direct care to patients on an assigned unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation critical thinking skills, and scientific judgement. Functions and performs all technical aspects of nursing care within accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, the framework of established policies and procedures of Pasco Regional Medical Center. Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and guiding and directing the activities of ancillary staff. May function as charge nurse. Functions in the Emergency Room as assistant to the physician.
RequirementsEducation: Graduate of a school of nursing with a current Florida license. Minimum: Associates Degree or Diploma Required.
Requirements: (within months of employment date) ACLS, BLS or TNCC (TNCC preferred), PALS or ENPC (ENPC preferred) NRP required.
