To provide nursing care utilizing the steps of the nursing process to meet patient care needs. The responsibilities in this job description are reflective of the expectation that patient care is delivered in a manner that is appropriate to patient age, physical ability, and intellectual development. It is expected that patient care will be adapted to meet one or more of the following populations: a) neonatal, ages 0 to 28 days; b) pediatric, ages 29 days to 13 years; c) adult, ages 14 to 64 years; d) geriatric, ages 65+ years.
