CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST RN Immediate needs for energetic individuals to join our team in the role of Clinical Documentation Specialist. DESCRIPTIONAs a member of our team, this position will interact with physician, nursing and other staff to facilitate improvement in the overall quality, completeness and accuracy of medical record documentation. Specifically, this position will: Obtain appropriate clinical documentation through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing, care management and coding staff to ensure that the clinical information is complete and accurateEducate all members of the patient care team on documentation guidelinesWork collaboratively with staff to solve problems and improve documentation processes for reimbursement codingEnsure that appropriate reimbursement is received for the level of services renderedCollect and analyze data to provide reports and make recommendations REQUIREMENTSThree years of applicable experience, including up-to-date clinical knowledge to concurrently review medical records, understand clinical picture and identify opportunities for improved documentationAbility to create and maintain strong relationships with the medical staffCurrent registered nurse license CoreMedical Group is a nationally recognized leader in the medical recruitment and employment industry.
