Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Evening Shift / 11a-11:30p
Inpatient Facility

Part on an independent, community-governed healthcare system serving a suburban area just west of Portland, Oregon. Providing a complete array of outpatient, specialty, health education and other services. Big-city services in a small-town atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Delivers nursing care for medical/surgical patients
Provides age appropriate care using standards of care and nursing practices
Ensures plan of care is carried out and documented according to the principles defined in the nursing process
Ensures continuity of care by providing direct care as well as supervising care given by nurses and support staff
Participates in the development of the medical/surgical unit goals

Requirements for this job:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current license within the state of practice
Current BLS Certification upon hire; if not ACLS Certified
Minimum one year Med/Surg experience preferred
Demonstrates IV competencies within 90 days
